How to revert to old Blogger UI

Update: Blogger has disabled the old UI and there is no way now to revert to old UI.

Blogger has "upgraded" its UI (User Interface) to the Blogger new UI but lots of bloggers are not happy and want to revert to the old UI.

To do that is pretty simple provided you know what to look for. Go to the DASHBOARD. Look for the gear like icon at the top right of the page as show below:

gear icon to change to old Blogger UI

Click on it and select "Old Blogger interface" and it is done.

  6. Looks like this is a temporary fix. I'm getting a msg stating that the old blogger interface will be removed in 'the coming month'.

Which stinks. The old interface works and is intuitive. I don't like the new interface at all -- especially where it counts - in the posting of new articles.

  7. The new interface is rubbish, posting new posts is impossible, they look nothing like they look in the "compose" bit. Working with HTML is impossible as well!

Have converted back to the old interface. Message to blogger: PLEASE LET US KEEP THE OLD INTERFACE PERMANENTLY. Thank you.

  8. I have tried the new interface for a while and it is just terrible! They simply changed everything for the sake of changing things. Nothing to say 'aha I need to swith to this!.

Thank you for this I have already switched to the old one.

  9. If I wanted the new Blogger format, I would have switched to Word Press. And if they force the new format on me, I WILL switch to Word Press.

  10. I agree with you guyz, lot of changes was made, so weird! However, if you explore the blogger new interface it's so nice because there's added new features like what did wordpress but they only provided minimal. Fortunately, you can write search description every time you post, and in the setting we have Search Preference. Visit this site guys for more details. Here

  12. Trying to edit in the HTML format of the new interface is too difficult and impossible to handle.
    .
I want the old interface back and for ever please! I hope it will not be gone "in the coming months".
    .
I also do not need the statistics part of it.

  17. Blogger is constantly upgrading and sometimes what works before no longer works because they no longer wants to support it. What to do?
